Rotaract club of Ambattur is a community-based club of the rotary international 3232 sponsored by Rotary club of Ambattur. The club has 28 years of legacy serving the community with signature projects like Vidiyal- a talent promotion event for special kids and Nakshatra - an inter Rotaract cultural event for the rotaractors. The club has also initiated some pride projects such as Le Reve- a professional Insight of career options available for school students, Serve the dead- claiming the unclaimed deceased and paying them their final respect with due rituals.Kalam 2020 - Public speaking and communication skill enhancement programme for higher secondary students. Triumph - Professional and career development programme for college students

Vidiyal
Vidiyal, a talent promotion event for the mentally challenged Children, is a very special event for the Club. Initiated in the year 2006, Rotaract Club of Ambattur boasts of restoring the rights and dignity of the special children from 25+ schools across Chennai who participate in the various events and expose their talents. The club implants smile in the hearts of the Children and the untiring mentors who guide and accompany them by complementing them with awards and recognition.
Nakshatra
Nakshatra is an inter Rotaract cultural event which provides a platform for the Rotaractors to put forth their talent either individually or to broadcast their team work. Nakshatra is a project initiated by the Rotaract Club of Ambattur. It is an ongoing project which has been successfully conducted for the past 16 years. Every year. the club aims to contribute to a cause which include End Polio, Breast Cancer Awareness, Literacy Awareness, Feel the Hunger Feed the Hungry and installing Sanitary Napkin Vending Machines in schools


Le Reve
Le Rêve a career guidance and mentorship for the school students of classes 9 to 12. Students are given a list of about 25+ professions to choose from. Highly experienced professionals from each domain are invited to provide the children with a guidance and a enlighten them on the path to excel in their respective fields. Every year, the project takes place as 2 or 3 phases in different schools and about 500 children from each school are benefited.
Triumph
Similar to Le Reve, but with much more depth and crowd, Triumph focuses on college students in the 3rd and Final year to enhance their personality and character. The project trains students to develop their soft skills and to sharpen their character so as to make them ready towards a professional environment. Every year, Triumph is conducted in about 10 - 20 colleges with about 150 - 200 students being benefited in each college.


Serve the Dead
“Serve The Dead” is an Initiative by Rotaract Club of Ambattur, where the club claim the unclaimed and unidentified souls from Government hospitals and does the final rituals for them. Every year, on an average about 30 - 40 unclaimed corpses are done the final rituals for. Initiated in the year 2016, about 170 dead corpses are claimed and properly buried after rituals.
